Our office does not require confirmation that an access permit has been taken out in order to issue your building permit, however it is a required permit separate from our building permit process. On all municipal roads this permit application is available at the respective Municipal Office or for the City of Selkirk at the Public Works Department.
If your site is on a Provincial Road or Highway or within a Highway Control Circle, an access permit must be obtained from the Highway Traffic Board.
